Volleyball Recap: Thunder Basin Find Success + How To Watch

Thunder Basin won the last time they faced Scottsbluff and things went their way on Friday too. The Bolts walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bearcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bolts.

The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 21-25, 25-22.

Thunder Basin had a senior duo take command as Reece McGrath had 17 digs and two aces and Traecyn Hilliard had six aces and three digs. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Hilliard.

Thunder Basin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Thunder Basin's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Scottsbluff, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-10.
