It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Opp had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Satsuma Gators a 2-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Opp's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Madie Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Opp's victory bumped their record up to 33-9. As for Satsuma, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-20-3.

Looking ahead, Opp will face off against Orange Beach at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The Makos will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. Satsuma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
