Meanwhile, Dowling Catholic had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand Kennedy a 1-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for Dowling Catholic in their matchups with Kennedy: they've now won three in a row.
