Westby/Grenora scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Hysham, 42-6. At the time, the Pirates was ranked 20th in the state, while the Gophers was 48th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westby/Grenora, who took down 20th ranked Hysham, 42-6.
Savage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trent Prevost has thrown for 126 yards and one touchdown this season, while Tanner Hagler has seven catches for 79 yards. Braden Feisthamel leads the league in rushing with 259 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Dale Icopini's team takes on Lambert/Richey. As it stands, the Pirates are in second, while the R&L Fusion are in fifth.
The Gophers extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hysham, 42-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
