Preview: Village vs. St. Thomas Catholic
After three games on the road, Village is heading back home. They will take on the St. Thomas Catholic Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Saturday just wasn't the day for Village's offense. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 7-0 walloping at the hands of Central Catholic on Saturday. Village has not had much luck with Central Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, St. Thomas Catholic was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and St. Pius X finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Village's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. With that draw, St. Thomas Catholic's record moves to 13-5-4.
Village skirted past St. Thomas Catholic 4-3 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will Village repeat their success, or does St. Thomas Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
