Baseball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Amber-Pocasset waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lexington Bulldogs with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Amber-Pocasset got a big performance out of Trace Barry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Barry also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Kale Jones was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Amber-Pocasset hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lexington struck out nine times.

Amber-Pocasset's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lexington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Amber-Pocasset will challenge Minco at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will take on Marlow at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
