Basketball Recap: Vienna Comes Up Short

After flying high against Johnston City on Friday, Vienna came back down to earth. The Vienna Eagles fell 65-57 to the El Paso-Gridley Titans on Saturday.

Vienna's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for El Paso-Gridley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Vienna will host Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Paso-Gridley, they will venture away from home to take on Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1 points per game this season.
