Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayfield). They blew past the Westridge Tigers 23-5 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-6 last Tuesday.

Harlinn Moriarty was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaz Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI.
