After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Solanco, Manheim Central was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Garden Spot Spartans with a sharp 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Barons, who have now won four matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Mea Redcay made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. Redcay was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Abby Logan and Katelynn Myer did most of the damage at the plate: Logan went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Myer went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
