Football Game Preview: West Orange Warriors vs. Ocoee Knights + How To Watch

West Orange has gone 8-2 against Ocoee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in West Orange's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

West Orange's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Olympia 48-0. Give the Warriors' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

West Orange's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Andrew Chung, who threw for 243 yards and four TDs, and Jayden Ammons, who rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns. Chung is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Dakiren Glover, who picked up 79 receiving yards and one score.

West Orange didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Sean Cannon, DJ McGee, Devonte Anderson, and Deandre Merideth Jr. picked up one apiece. West Orange got some further help from Nolan Turner: he picked up 0.5 sacks and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Ocoee came up short against Winter Park on Friday and fell 39-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Ocoee's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for West Orange, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

West Orange beat Ocoee 21-14 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
