Baseball Recap: Horizon's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Horizon had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Cypress Creek Bears by a score of 9-4 on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-2 victory back in March.

Denver Patton was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Jose Massanet was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Horizon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
