Volleyball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Baltimore on Monday, Northwood came back down to earth. The Rangers lost 3-0 to the Lakota Raiders on Tuesday. If the Rangers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Northwood was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lakota's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 26-24.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakota, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwood will challenge rival Gibsonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lakota is set to take on their familiar foe Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
