Volleyball Recap: South Webster's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

With a playoff win on the line, South Webster rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Valley Indians 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Jeeps as they're now sitting on four straight.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day South Webster got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 22-25, 15-8.

Leading South Webster to victory were Emma Campbell and Addi Claxon. Campbell had eight digs and eight assists, while Claxon had 25 digs, 11 kills, and four aces. Claxon is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least six every time she's taken the court this season. Chloe Milligan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

South Webster's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.

Coming up, South Webster will host Newark Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
