Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia fell victim to Buckhorn and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 17-0 to the Bucks. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bucks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Columbia now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Buckhorn, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Columbia will head out on the road to face off against St. John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Buckhorn, they have already played their next matchup, a 16-0 victory against Lee on the 3rd.
