Volleyball Recap: Kirkwood Victorious

After losing to Sycamore the last time they met, Kirkwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cobras came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-19.

Kirkwood found their leader in sophomore Jada Taylor, who had six digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Lyons, who had eight digs and three assists.

Kirkwood's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sycamore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Kirkwood will take on Christian County in a tournament on Saturday. Sycamore has already played their next game (against Montgomery Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
