Alec Wilson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Upperman is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 6-7 otherwise.
