Soccer Recap: Rio Americano Finishes Even with Vista del Lago

For the first time this season, Rio Americano was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Vista del Lago Eagles finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Trey Howell-Chase and Isaac Carillo scored both of Rio Americano's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Rio Americano's record moves to 0-2-1. Meanwhile, Vista del Lago's record is now 2-2-1.

Rio Americano is taking a road trip to face off against Jesuit at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jesuit's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vista del Lago, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Cordova at 1:00 p.m.
