It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Abingdon/Avon had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Elmwood Trojans, posting a 72-45 victory. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Abingdon/Avon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. Elmwood's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-13.
