Basketball Game Preview: University School Preppers vs. Geneva Eagles

The University School Preppers will head out to square off against the Geneva Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, University School ended up a good deal behind St. Edward and lost 70-54. While losing is never fun, the Preppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Eagles are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, Geneva was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-43 to Benedictine.

University School dropped their record down to 12-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

University School took their win against Geneva in their previous meeting back in January of 2015 by a conclusive 63-37. Will University School repeat their success, or does Geneva have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
