Belton-Honea Path faced Crescent in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bears blew past the Tigers 11-4. Considering the Bears have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Belton-Honea Path is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Crescent, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9.

Coming up, Belton-Honea Path will square off against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crescent, they will face off against Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
