Softball Recap: Klein Cain Takes a Loss

Klein Cain managed to slip by Tomball Memorial the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Klein Cain lost 7-1 to Tomball Memorial on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Klein Cain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amia Shead, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Klein Cain's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Tomball Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Klein Cain is set to square off against their familiar foe Magnolia at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tomball Memorial will take on rival Klein Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
