Dunlap had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They didn't even let the Morton Potters on the board, marking their second-straight 8-0 shutout. Considering the Eagles have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Davis Weeks was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Simon Malcolm, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Dunlap kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.

Dunlap's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Morton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dunlap beat the Potters by a score of 5-2 later that day.
