Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clarkston was the 2-0 winner over Douglas County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Angoras fell 2-0 to the Tigers on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Alaina Harris paced Clarkston's offense, picking up ten kills. Harris got some help from Suily Par and her 18 assists. Harris and Par didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Clarkston has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season. As for Douglas County, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-12.

Clarkston has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Atlanta International on the 30th. As for Douglas County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Alexander on the 30th.
