The Seeger Patriots will face off against the Salt Fork Storm at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seeger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

While Seeger's victory against Covington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Trojans 8-6.

The team relied heavily on Lyla Badger, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Layla Cavanaugh was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, while Salt Fork put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Georgetown-Ridge Farm. The Storm were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Buffaloes. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Seeger is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Salt Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
