Soccer Recap: Long Branch Find Success

Long Branch kept a clean sheet against Bayonne on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Bees 1-0. Given Long Branch's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Bayonne are ranked 268th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Long Branch is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. As for Bayonne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season.

Long Branch will challenge Voorhees at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bayonne, they will head out on the road to square off against Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
