Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Jackson Memorial Jaguars. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Bloomfield was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Jackson Memorial work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Jackson Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against West Caldwell Tech on the 14th. As for Jackson Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Manchester Township on the 12th.
