Volleyball Recap: Port Charlotte Pirates vs. North Fort Myers Red Knights

Port Charlotte had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the North Fort Myers Red Knights on Saturday as the Port Charlotte Pirates made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on eight straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-14.

Port Charlotte was led to victory by Cora Mcginnis and Olivia Oliver. Mcginnis had five digs and three aces, while Oliver had 11 digs.

Port Charlotte is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for North Fort Myers, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
