Softball Recap: Perry County Comes Up Short

Perry County fell victim to Wayne County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Perry County's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Perry County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Collinwood on the 8th. Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
