Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Riverton

Riverton won the last time they faced Girard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Riverton Rams managed a 38-34 victory over the Girard Trojans. The 38-point effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win was the third in a row for Riverton, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. As for Girard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverton will venture away from home to square off against Galena on Friday. Galena will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Riverton surely won't give up without a fight. Girard has already played their next game (against Frontenac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
