Softball Recap: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Notre Dame Academy Eagles        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Chardon gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They never let the Notre Dame Academy Eagles onto the board and left with  an   11-0  win. Chardon's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  run in their last three  games.
  Alexa Anderson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Anderson has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Anderson was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Emma Anderson was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Riley Ford, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Chardon is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. As for Notre Dame Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Chardon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  7-2  victory vs. Perry on the 26th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Central Catholic at 4:30  p.m.
