 Meanwhile,  it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Life Christian Academy had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  83-32 victory over the Conquerors at home. New Life Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  games by 32  points or more this season.
 New Life Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to   Clayton Hedgepeth, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and nine  assists, and   Ty'lik Taylor, who  scored 38 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. It was the first time this season that  Hedgepeth  posted eight or more  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cameron Parker, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 13  rebounds.
 Matthews Christian Academy's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-11. As for New Life Christian Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record  this season.
