It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Evergreen ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Hudson's Bay Eagles. The Plainsmen's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

With the win, Evergreen broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for Hudson's Bay, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Evergreen will host Franklin Pierce at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
