Baseball Recap: Traip Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Traip's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Richmond Bobcats on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Traip saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Jordan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Traip's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Richmond, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traip will venture away from home to face off against Old Orchard Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richmond, they will head out to take on Greenville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
