Volleyball Game Preview: South Brunswick Cougars vs. South Columbus Stallions

The South Brunswick Cougars will square off against the South Columbus Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Brunswick comes in on eight and South Columbus on four.

On Tuesday, South Brunswick made easy work of Whiteville and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Brunswick took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-12.

Meanwhile, South Columbus got the win against Red Springs on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Columbus was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-8.

South Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for South Columbus, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Everything went South Brunswick's way against South Columbus in their previous matchup back in September, as South Brunswick made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
