If All S was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grapevine Faith Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints lost 3-0 to the Southwest Christian School Eagles on Thursday. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

While All S ultimately came up short, they really made Southwest Christian School work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 28-26.

All S' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Avery Bingham, who had 16 digs and one assist, and Sofia Landeros, who had 13 assists and eight digs.

All S' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 15-5. As for Southwest Christian School, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7-2.

All S didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Grace Prep on the 30th. As for Southwest Christian School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Antonian Prep on the 26th.
