Baseball Recap: Reid Holliday's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hannibal over Holt

Hannibal managed to slip by Holt the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-2 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 13-12.

Hannibal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Holliday, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Another was Alex Arthaud, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Hannibal and nudges their season record down to 16-16. As for Holt, their win bumped their record up to 5-21.

As of now, neither Hannibal nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
