There's no place like home for Los Gatos, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Homestead Mustangs on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Los Gatos had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.

Los Gatos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Homestead, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Los Gatos and Homestead will both be playing Monta Vista the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Matadors at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
