Green and Eastern are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will head out to square off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Green's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against East as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Bobcats have beaten the Tartans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tartans has come to flipping the script.

Green saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Bridges, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Isabella Conley, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Eastern posted their closest victory since March 22nd on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Unioto 5-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

Leah Rader spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lynnleigh McCollister, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Lydia Park was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Green's record now sits at 5-11. As for Eastern, their record is now 9-5.

Green might still be hurting after the 14-2 loss they got from Eastern when the teams last played on April 8th. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
