Basketball Recap: Southview Falls Despite Big Games from Jordan Evans and Alaina Hedden

Southview lost against Ross back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southview Cougars lost to the Ross Little Giants on the road by a 50-32 margin. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Southview had strong showings from Alaina Hedden, who posted five points, and Jordan Evans, who earned five points. The dominant performance also gave Hedden a new career-high in steals (two).

Southview's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Ross, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Southview will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Anthony Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th. Ross has already played their next game (against Whitmer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
