Cornwall Central waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Port Jervis Raiders with a sharp 14-4 win. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Cornwall Central pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Port Jervis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Cornwall Central will take on Goshen Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 3.6, the Gladiators 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Port Jervis, they will welcome Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
