 After flying high against Berwick  last Friday, Dallas came back down to earth. The Dallas Mountaineers fell just short of the Hazleton Area Cougars by a score of  4-3 on Wednesday. It was the first time  this season that Dallas let down their fans at home.
 Dallas saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  JJ Rischawy, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Dallas' defeat  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 9-3. As for Hazleton Area, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
 Dallas will be playing at home against Tunkhannock at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Dallas is facing Tunkhannock at the right time seeing as Tunkhannock is stuck on  an  11-game losing streak. As for Hazleton Area, they will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Wilkes-Barre at 4:30  p.m. Hazleton Area's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so Wilkes-Barre's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
