Soccer Recap: Richmond Has No Trouble Against Kokomo

Kokomo kept up with Richmond until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Wildkats with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Richmond have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jorge Bermea-Guzman and Ryder Morken scored all four of Richmond's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Richmond's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Kokomo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will challenge Muncie Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncie Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Richmond surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kokomo, they will face off against McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
