Volleyball Recap: Minden Whippets vs. St. Paul Wildcats
Minden won the last time they faced St. Paul, and things went their way on Monday too. The Minden Whippets were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the St. Paul Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Whippets.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-12.
Mattie Kamery paced Minden's offense, picking up 14 kills. Kamery got some help from
Myla Emery and her 21 assists. Emery was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Minden pushed their record up to 32-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Paul, they moved to 16-17 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
Minden will host David City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. David City will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Minden surely won't give up without a fight. St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
