Softball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

Adrian fell victim to Mt. Vernon and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Adrian's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Mt. Vernon, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-5.

Adrian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Wellington-Napoleon on the 25th. Hopefully Mt. Vernon paid attention to the Blackhawks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Blackhawks at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
