Powers Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Saginaw Valley - South this week by beating Flint Southwestern Academy, 46-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Carman-Ainsworth was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Flushing 43-0. The Cavaliers came in at 18 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Powers Catholic takes on Davison. The Chargers are currently in first, while the Cardinals are in third.
Davison led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Northwestern.
