Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Washington Rams came up short against the Kellis Cougars and fell 9-5. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Washington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ta'Lon Heron, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Liam Bunstein, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Washington fell to 2-1. As for Kellis, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Coming up, Washington will challenge Moon Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Kellis, they will take on Youngker at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Youngker is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
