St. Joseph's Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Northwest Rankin. The St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers blew past the Northwest Rankin Cougars 3-0. Considering the Redstickers have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was St. Joseph's Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 14-1-1. As for Northwest Rankin, they moved to 10-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

St. Joseph's Academy will head out to face off against St. Michael at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will face off against St. Mary's Dominican at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
