Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Player #42 and Nathan Uy Leads Kamiak over Cascade

If Cascade wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kamiak, they should've done a better job of containing Jayden Harris. The Knights blew past the Bruins 49-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Harris, who rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Kamiak didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Player #42 and Nathan Uy.

The win made it two in a row for Kamiak and bumps their season record up to 2-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 18 points in those games. As for Cascade, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Kamiak will square off against Lake Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cascade, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Everett at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will be up against the Seagulls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
