Softball Recap: Owyhee Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

On Friday Owyhee's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Boise Brave. That's more bragging rights for the Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grace Groulx was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Groulx wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Owyhee lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boise didn't launched any home runs.

Owyhee pushed their record up to 22-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Boise, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Owyhee nor Boise have any future games scheduled.
