Soccer Recap: Faith Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Faith Christian Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Christ Covenant Spartans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Faith Christian Academy came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Christ Covenant are ranked 255th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Faith Christian Academy fell to 6-1. As for Christ Covenant, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-4-1.

Coming up, Faith Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Jacksonville Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Christ Covenant, they will take on Pungo Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
